In this area, all the faculties of intelligence are developed through exploration of the various materials of varying dimension, color, shape, texture, smell, and taste. The child develops critical thinking, the ability to focus and the ability to classify items encountered in his environment. The Sensory Perception area also includes geometry as the subject is introduced to the child through their senses. This area also lays the foundation for other curriculum areas, especially Mathematics.
